Fitness Report – Spring 09

So, it’s Spring 09 and my winter fitness program paid it’s first dividends as I (and many other happy cyclists) hit the road at the weekend after being trapped indoors all winter. I enjoyed a fair paced 52 km ride from Hove to Littlehampton and back in 2 hours and 40 mins. Although the route along the coast has no hills I was happy with how it went and has made all the winter training worthwhile. I can now hopefully remain training outside through the spring. I’ve lost 3 kilos training this winter and feel better for it.
