At the end of June I was in Provence, France for the wedding of Alex + Paul. Alex’s mum and step dad John settled here 5 years ago and the village, out amongst the vineyards and lavender, was a wonderful venue for the wedding. There was a good mix of locals and Brits here and the beautiful sunshine was a real treat. The small ceremony was held at the local Marie’s office (the Mayor) then we went round the corner to meet all the guests for a blessing in the church. Alex + Paul had drinks and speeches in the garden of friend then everyone went back to Mum’s house for the 5 course meal and party. So I can now claim to be “international”!
